Provides a broad range of administrative and support functions of a highly responsible manners. Liaises between Administration, Physican Faculty, Resident Physicians, other departmental management and Non-Baptist assets. Coordinates and administers human resources, schedules, financial/budgetary structure, and Non-Baptist affiliated contacts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Required: One year experience as a Residency Coordinator or comparable or two years experience as an office manager or comparable.
Experience Preferred: Five years experience as a Residency Coordinator.
Education Required: High School Graduate and completion of at least two years at the college level is required.
Education Preferred: Bachelors' degree is preferred
Training Required: Minimum requirements include superior communication skills including effective use of English in written, oral/verbal formats. Legible handwriting and attention to detail as necessary to perform job duties. Ability to type 40 wpm or greater. Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
Special Skills Required: Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; both written and verbal. Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Special Skills Preferred: Mastery of written English and formatting sufficient to proof documents. Knowledge of operational management and medical terminology as well as proficiency with various office applications are a bonus.
Licensure Required: BLS within 30 days of hire
