  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Corporate Compliance leadership, this position is responsible for supporting the requirements and effectiveness of Baptist's Compliance Program.  Particular areas of focus are likely to include compliance training, policies, exclusion screening, communications, investigations and arrangements/database management.  Areas of expertise should include the federal Anti-Kickback statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, and other areas and regulations related to healthcare compliance.  Some of the position's essential duties/responsibilities include: support the day-to-day compliance matters and policy questions; manage Baptist's exclusion screening process, non-compensation monitoring program, Financial Conflict of Interests (FCOI), hotline/helpline monitoring program and tracking and reporting of corrective actions; and support the creation of Compliance Committee and Board Compliance Committee materials and presentations as needed.


    • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a legal or compliance professional with the development, implementation and/or sustaining of an effective compliance program required
    • Demonstrated project management experience and demonstrated experience in conducting compliance investigations required
    • Excellent computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
    • Experience in managing data analytics
    • Experience in healthcare compliance related to federal healthcare program laws including, but not limited to Anti-Kickback Statute,Stark Law, False Claims Act and Civil Monetary Penalty Law and CMS Regulations strongly preferred
