Provide classroom and laboratory instruction in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) courses and/or supervise students in DMS clinical courses, including: grading and evaluation of student performance, course assessment, and revision of curriculum with goal of ensuring competent entry-level practitioners.
Under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair.
Position may require hours beyond the 8 hour workday.
Desired Qualifications (Instructor or Assistant Professor based on experience)
Master's degree from an accredited institution in related discipline or appropriate discipline for college teaching/administration
Three (3) years of college teaching experience in accredited sonography program or equivalent work experience in the medical sonography discipline;
Holds at least 3 current unrestricted sonography credentials by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Credentials must include any combination of RDMS, RVT, or RDCS.
