To assist the nursing staff in the rendering of patient care by providing those services necessary for patient comfort and personal hygiene requiring little or no variation in routine, and to assist in areas of orthopedic care (including splinting), phlebotomy, accucheck, and 12-lead EKG. Also, may assist with Unit Clerk duties. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. *** Experience: No Experience Required. *** License/Certification/Registries (valid for the State of MS): Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification within 90 Days of Employment Required. UDS/BAT Training Required. Orthopedic Training Required. Certified Orthopedic Tech Preferred.
