  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Baptist has a wonderful opportunity for a System Director-Nursing for the CNR Program. 

     

    Provides strategic leadership and administration in the areas of Patient Care, Education, Safety and Quality in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of Professional Nursing Practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.  This position promotes a professional practice environment and develops and maintains collegial and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the institution to positively impact the business of clinical operations, nursing, and patient care outcomes.  These partnerships include ongoing collaboration with Physician, Facility, and Organizational Leaders.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to standardization of systems, identification of efficiencies, integration of performance and financial improvement strategies, and support of strategic business initiatives.  Works in collaboration with all departments.  Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Nursing and RN Licensure Required.
    • Five plus years of progressive experience in Health Care.
    • Extensive knowledge of scope and standards of practice, regulatory requirements, nurse practice acts, evidence based practices, and leadership principles.
    • Specialty certification preferred.
