  • Overview and Responsibilities

    Performs a variety of medical physics responsibiities including oversight for the physics/dosimetry area of the department; development of techniques used to standardize and calibrate imaging and therapy equipment; performs treatment planning for special cases; assists staff with simulations, treatments, and special device fabrication upon request; performs acceptance testing, measurements, commissioning and ongoing quality assurance testing fo linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, and other equipment; maintains quality assurance files for state inspections.

    Experience  
     ABR certified in Radiation Therapy with 3 years experience in a progressive Radiation Oncology department or Cancer CenterABR certified; 5 years experience; previous Chief Physicist experience in hospital-based Radiation Oncology program
