Plan and deliver nutritional care of patients in accordance with the physician's diagnosis and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement and evaluate patient's nutritional care plans. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Food and Nutrition and Completion of CUP or AP4 Internship required.
License/Certification/Registries (valid for the State of MS): Must be Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) eligible or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic Association. License by the State Board of Health (valid for State of MS) required.
If registry eligible, must take the next scheduled exam. Must obtain Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status within two exam schedules to remain in position.
Skills: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job through identified competencies. Must exhibit good oral and written communication skills.
