Coordinates pre-admission and outpatient registration services for patients across the continuum of care, promoting quality care and effective utilization of resources. Provides leadership when dealing with patient pre-admission functions, including inpatient and outpatient services. Coordinates efforts between departments to ensure accurate pre-certification resulting in timely billing of claims. Evaluates, accesses, plans and facilitates a plan of care. Some overtime and call back required. Reports directly to Director of Centralized Patient Access Center. Performs other duties as assigned.
