Overview and Responsibilities

  • Performs electoneurodiagnostic tests within approved standards, utilizing knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroneurodiagnostic instrumentation, pattern recognition and various medical and pharmacological conditions.
  • Incumbent may be FT, PT, or PRN with overtime, on-call and call back as required.
  • Reports to Electroneurodiagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or director.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Experience Required:

Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology training program of Associate degree or

2 years of college level education with classes in English, Math, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology or 3 years END experience.

Education Required:

Position requires high school diploma, GED, or 1 year of clinical experience.



Special Skills:

Skill and proficiency in the concepts, principles, and techniques of the field of Neurodiagnostics, including EEG, EMG, EP, EMU and NCS.


Preferred/Desired: Meets all requirements to be eligible to sit for exam for one of the following certifications: R. EEG T., R.EPT T., R. NCS T., CLTM or CNIM
