Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to all patients according to Nutrition Care Process in adherence to Policies and Procedures. Serves as a nutrition resource to hospital staff, BMHCS, and the community; and assists in the direction of clinical support staff by coordinating and providing leadership. The incumbent is under the general direction of the Director, Assistant Director or Designee and is responsible for clinical services at BMH 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Some overtime and callback is required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Minimum Required: Knowledge or protocol and methods of BMH as normally acquired by a 2-4 week orientation
Education Minimum Required: Completion of program meeting requirements leading to registration by The Commission on Registration of The American Dietetic Association
Training Minimum Required: None
Special Skills Minimum Required: Basic computer literacy skills required
