Informs the pre-admission nurse of any additional data related to the infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient that is necessary and for the continuous assessment and care of the patient.
Accurately follows physician?s orders when ordering diagnostic tests and performs those test which are part of the multi-skilled position.
Participates in providing safe, cost effective patient care in a timely manner to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Participates in providing education to patients, families, staff, students, and physicians by following established guidelines to ensure safety, continuity of care and advancement of knowledge and skills.
Participates in performance improvement activities (PI) by identifying areas of opportunity to ensure quality is consistent with established guidelines.
Provides a safe, functional, and effective environment for patients, staff, and other individuals in the hospital, thus promoting quality patient care and achieving good outcomes.
Completes assigned goals.
|Serves as the unit receptionist and assists the nursing staff by relieving them of many of the clerical tasks indirectly related to the delivery of quality patient care. Monitors work environment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Under the general supervision the RN, Ambulatory Care Director, and/or Shift Coordinator. Performs other duties as assigned.|
