The Scientific Writer is responsible for supporting Thoracic Oncology Research Group analytic projects, including completing and submitting meeting abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, research grants and scientific presentations. The Scientific Writer may also assist with technical grant administration duties. Other duties may be performed as assigned. Travel may be required.

5 years of research writing or analysis experience.
PhD in health-analysis related field (e.g., public health, epidemiology, statistics, etc.)
Computer literate including experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with medical terminology; experience with electronic medical records
Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative work, such as coding in SAS, S, or R
